The plug dimmer (Product Code: 123597) can be plugged into any socket with plug type E and dims loads up to 300 W. The unit is a phase-angle dimmer, but thanks to zero-point compensation and other optimisation options, it can dim not only inductive (transformers) and resistive (incandescent lamps, high-voltage halogens) loads but also most capacitive loads (switch-mode power supplies, LED luminaires, energy-saving luminaires) – provided they are dimmable. The device has protection class IP20 and can therefore only be used in dry indoor spaces. It is operated via Z-Wave radio commands or via a local push-button. A blue LED shows you the dimming status. A programmable timer allows you to use the device flexibly in the house.
